Stop At: Broome-Cape Leveque Rd 240 km north of Broome, Dampier Peninsula, Western Australia 6725 Australia
After a 05.30am courtesy bus pickup from your accommodation, climb aboard our custom built 4X4 as we drive north along the Dampier Peninsular.
Our first stop is the famous pearl shell church at Beagle Bay, followed by a tea or coffee break.
We then travel to Kooljaman at Cape Leveque for breakfast and a tour of the area’s stunning, unspoilt beaches.
A short distance away we visit One Arm Point community for an informative tour of their innovative aquaculture hatchery.

Although I enjoyed the trip I don’t think we saw the best of the falls… will depend on the day how good it is.
Please note though if you pay for the video, that they send it via Dropbox (which they don’t say when you order it). However when I tried to download it Dropbox wanted $170 to upgrade, saying video was more than 2gb - even though I had nothing in Dropbox !
HZ advised this was the only way to receive it until I asked for my money back and I rcd the following reply:
Ya ok just provide a mailing address and we’ll send a usb
Im 71 years old so found this a disrespectful way to reply. However I will be glad to receive what I paid for.

Tom picked us up from our accommodation in the bus and once everyone was onboard we headed for Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm for breakfast. After the delicious meal we were given a wonderful tour of the Pearl Farm. Next we headed to One Arm Point for an interesting session about trocus shells. Tom then drove us to the airport. Steve was our pilot and explained what we were flying over and then once we were at the falls, he ensured we were able to take some good photos of the Horizontal Falls from above.
Once on the pontoon we settled in upstairs with a talk about the rest of our day. Back downstairs Tommy explained about the tawny nurse sharks he was feeding and allowed us to feed them too while some of us swam in their small caged pool. Hayley and Leah cooked delicious barramundi on the BBQ served with salads, juices and water. After lunch Wayne took us in their high speed boat to the falls and we raced through them both a couple of times. It was an amazing experience and learning how they came about was interesting. We returned to the pontoon for afternoon tea then headed back on the boat to Cyclone Creek before heading back to the Horizontal Falls for our last trip through them.
Steve then flew us back to Broome and the bus dropped us back at home. What a wonderful day! Don't miss this adventure.

Next day trip cancelled, so steo one having the trip was great.
Day was perfect for flight photography.
Saw and rode the 2 falls as tide was perfect for this.
Shark snorkel with 'Dicon' hoovering fish interesting, esp in sea current.

Very well organised enjoyable day out with transfers provided door-to-door. The seaplane journeys (always fun) provided great scenic views. But the highlight for us has to be the speedboat ride through the falls. An absolute adrenaline rush that probably cannot be captured by camera! Although we look forward to receiving the official video. There were several passes through each of the "Falls", but the experience was still over far too soon!
There is also opportunity to experience "up close and personal" views of Nurse Sharks from the pontoon.
The tour of the Pearl Farm is very interesting and informative, but is followed by a long bus ride back to Broome (Something to consider when choosing this tour). If we were ever lucky enough to repeat this experience, I think we'd opt for a return flight.

The Horizontal Falls Seaplane Adventures took us on a experience of a lifetime. For us this was a highlight of our time in the Kimberley’s. It was rather like our little James Bond type experience. We flew in on a small seaplane, over picturesque country, to a stunningly beautiful bay. There we found a secluded little getaway, with helicopter and speed boat waiting. Wow, we felt so special. Then we enjoyed the thrill and excitement of going through the falls. We could even get in a shark tank to observe sharks being fed. All this was followed by great food and very attentive, professional staff. What more could retirees enjoying travel ask of an overnight trip!

From the minute Tom picked us up in the 4x4 the day ran like clockwork. We were given a taste of everything the area has to offer. From the expert flight to the exhilarating fast boat ride this was a truly an exceptional day.

Amy was a great pilot and showed us so many interesting places I would never experience or see in my ordinary every day life. I experienced not only Horizontal falls but much much more exploring the magnificent dry interior and amazing coastline watching the tide receding in great speed uncovering jewels of islands and white sand of unspoilt shores.
